Katy Perry's 'Last Friday Night' Gets Teen-Party Makeover From Rebecca Black

http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1665653/katy-perry-last-friday-night-video.jhtml
What happened "Last Friday Night"? Katy Perry's alter ego Kathy Beth Terry is trying to figure that out. In the just premiered video, directed by Marc Klasfeld, Perry pays homage to the teen flicks of the '80s, with the help of quite a few famous friends.
In the midst of a rousing game of sudoku, the brace-faced, headgear-wearing, nerdy Kathy seems initially mad at the house party going on outside. So, what's a girl to do? Well, try to reason with the revelers and get them to stop, obviously.
But those revelers happen to include "Friday" singer Rebecca Black, house band Hanson, with an assist from Kathy Beth Terry's crazy uncle Kenny G, and "Glee" stars Darren Criss and Kevin McHale, the latter of whom has a mad, fantasy-tinged crush on Kathy. And soon, rather than put an end to the festivities, she's drawn into the party, which includes the tropes from movies like "She's All That," "Can't Hardly Wait" and about five flicks by John Hughes.
After Black gives Perry a makeover, complete with spandex, big hair and funky earrings, she's hanging with all of the cool kids. She's drinking, dancing, vomiting and falling over drunk, while the song's lyrics talk about regretting the Friday-night actions that are inevitably documented and spread online.
And, of course, it all comes back to Saturday morning, when a hungover Kathy is both pleased and shocked by what happened the night before, as her passed-out guests and Facebook page remind her of it all. Her parents arrive on the scene, but they don't seem too angry at her party-girl antics, maybe because they're played by Debbie Gibson and Corey Feldman. The only real casualty of the party? Kathy's solar system model!

Are you in the film too Katy?

It looks like Katy Perry is hoping to take on a second job as an extra.
Joining Russell Brand on the set of Rock Of Ages yesterday she dressed the part, matching her husband in her hippy outfit.
Her fringed T-shirt dress and shawl looked as if she had raided the wardrobe department of Brand's new movie.
Brand plays record executive Lonny in a star-studded cast who include Tom Cruise and Alec Baldwin.
The story follows a young rocker hungry for his big break and a small town girl who following her dreams in Hollywood.

They both end up on the LA rock scene just as a legendary Hollywood venue is facing its demise.
Katy isn't the only one to embrace the vintage looks of the movie.
Brand himself, 35, was channelling his inner 1980s glam rocker in an outfit remisiscent of  bearded Motley Crue guitarist Nikki Sixx ashe joined his wife on the set in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

He wore a tight cropped Japan-style T-shirt, worn jeans and sported a black beard as he chatted to crew members on the set.
Sixx, 52, usually opts for more sombre black outfits, but does sport the same distinctive black spiky hair, dark glasses and beard.
Earlier today, Brand tweeted a photograph of Alec Baldwin on the set, with the 30 Rock star looking distinctly different from his usual TV persona.
Clad in a two-toned denim vest, aviator sunglasses and long blonde surfer-inspired hair, it was certainly a unique look for the actor.

Brand  sported his trade mark curly brown hair, which appeared a little longer in length, slipped into a skin-tight yellow and brown tank and carried a giant candy lollipop.

Brand made a joke about their vintage look.
'Now this has happened with me and Alec Baldwin,' he wrote. 'Does reality even matter?'
Baldwin simply tweeted his excitement about working the funnyman: 'On the set with the one and only Russell Brand.
